Batter Up!

Ryan played his first baseball game of the season. They beat the Limon Strips team 10-8. It was a great game. He started out playing catcher and then, with a pitching change, moved to 1st base. He had two hits, 3 RBIs, walked once and scored three times! He also caught a pop fly!

Before the game started they had an opening day ceremony. All of the teams in the League were introduced on the field. This picture is kind of far away, but Ryan (blue team) is the one tipping his hat.

The drumline also added an exciting effect to the ceremony. Tyler played the cymbols today. He is in the back row (I almost didn't recognize him without a hat on!) :-)
